  1. Subject of the Contract

This Distance Contract is concluded between LR PROJEKTI (hereinafter – Service Provider) and the Client (hereinafter – Buyer), who purchases tourism-related services remotely via the website, email, phone, social networks, or other distance communication channels.

The contract applies to the purchase of travel services, tours, travel packages, excursions, accommodation, transportation services, tickets, or other tourism-related services.

  1. Definition of a Distance Contract

A Distance Contract is considered concluded when the Buyer:

  • submits a booking or order online or via email;
  • completes payment through the offered payment methods;
  • confirms the reservation in writing or electronically;
  • accepts an offer issued by the Service Provider.

The contract remains in force until the full provision of the purchased service.

  1. Price and Payment

3.1. The price of the service is displayed on the website or in an individually issued offer.

3.2. Prices include taxes unless otherwise indicated.

3.3. Payments may be made by bank transfer, payment card, online banking, or other available methods.

3.4. A reservation becomes valid only after the payment is received.

  1. Information Provided Before Purchase

Before concluding the Distance Contract, the Service Provider ensures that the Buyer is informed about:

  • the content and scope of the service;
  • total price and any additional costs;
  • itinerary or service execution details;
  • accommodation, transportation, or other service providers involved;
  • contact details and customer support.
  1. Right of Withdrawal

5.1. The Buyer has NO right of withdrawal

 for tourism services connected to:

  • a specific date or period;
  • passenger transport services (e.g., airline tickets, transfers);
  • accommodation services;
  • leisure activities scheduled for a particular date;
  • travel packages or combined travel arrangements.

This follows Article 22(1)(12) of the Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Law.

5.2. If the service is NOT linked to a specific date, the Buyer may withdraw within 14 days by submitting a written cancellation notice.

  1. Changes and Cancellation

6.1. If the Service Provider or third-party supplier makes changes to the service, the Buyer will be informed without delay.

6.2. Cancellation policies depend on the specific service and are indicated in the service description or the individual offer.

6.3. The Service Provider is not responsible for losses caused by:

  • airline schedule changes;
  • hotel overbookings or changes;
  • transport delays;
  • government restrictions;
  • weather conditions;
  • force majeure situations.
  1. Obligations of the Buyer

The Buyer must:

  • provide accurate personal and travel information;
  • review visa, insurance, and travel requirements;
  • arrive on time for all services;
  • follow safety and legal requirements at the destination;
  • comply with instructions from the Service Provider and partners.
  1. Obligations of the Service Provider

The Service Provider shall:

  • provide services as described in the offer;
  • ensure accurate and clear information;
  • communicate with service partners on behalf of the Buyer;
  • process personal data in accordance with GDPR and the Privacy Policy.
  1. Liability

9.1. The Service Provider is liable only for damages caused by its own actions or negligence.

9.2. The Service Provider is not liable for:

  • third-party service providers’ actions or omissions;
  • errors caused by airlines, hotels, or transport providers;
  • the Buyer’s delays or incorrect travel documents;
  • events outside reasonable control (force majeure).
  1. Personal Data Processing

Personal data is processed in accordance with:

  • EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR);
  • Latvian national legislation;
  • LR PROJEKTI Privacy Policy.

The Buyer consents to data processing by ordering services.

  1. Dispute Resolution

Disputes should first be resolved through negotiation.

If no agreement is reached, the Buyer may:

  • submit a complaint to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC);
  • seek legal remedy in the courts of the Republic of Latvia.
